Adelaide Hills Wine Trail
The Adelaide Hills wine region is the most beautiful and romantic of all the wine regions in Australia.
With more than 30 cellar doors tucked away in the green, undulating landscape, you'll have great fun exploring the region and discovering its fantastic wines.
You can pick up an Adelaide Hills Cellar Door Guide, listing all the various wineries and their opening times, from the Adelaide Hills Visitor Information Centre situated in the Hahndorf Academy Building at 66 - 68 Main Street, Hahndorf.
The Hahndorf Academy is the cultural centre of the Adelaide Hills and is the perfect place from which to begin your exploration of the quaint village of Hahndorf. Take your time ambling up the tree-lined main street which is lined with atmospheric eateries, cosy coffee houses, several historic pubs and lots of quirky souvenir shops.

You'll find three terrific cellar doors located in Hahndorf's main street - Somerled, RockBear and One Planet Wines - and situated conveniently close to them is the fabulous Udder Delights Cheese Cellar, where you can enjoy picnic-style meals as well as cheese tastings.
Our cellar door and vineyard is situated about two minutes' drive from the main street and is tucked behind the village. After visiting us, you may wish to stop by at the nearby 'The Cedars' which is the historic home and studio of renowned South Australian painter, Sir Hans Heysen, whose acclaimed artworks are on display.
You'll also find the beautiful cellar doors of Shaw and Smith, Nepenthe and The Lane Vineyard located within a short three minutes' drive of our own property.
