Hahndorf Hill Winery

Hahndorf Hill Winery is a boutique producer specialising in alternative, food-friendly wines, including Grüner Veltliner and Blaufränkisch, which we are helping to pioneer in Australia. We also produce the key varietals for which the Adelaide Hills wine region is renowned - Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay and cool-climate Shiraz.

Hahndorf Hill rose wine is uniquely made from Blaufrankisch and Trollinger grapes. Our beautiful cellar door is located outside historic Hahndorf village in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia. Hahndorf is the oldest surviving German settlement in Australia and exists today as a popular tourist destination, only 25 minutes' drive from Adelaide city.

Our wine region's location in the hills above Adelaide grants it the distinction of being one of the coolest sites in Australia to grow grapes, enabling wines of finesse and complexity to be produced.
