Tasting notes: Our beautiful, dry Rosé is regularly rated as one of the top Rosés in Australia, with both the 2019 and 2020 vintages once again included on the Halliday Wine Companion list of the Best of the Best Rosés in Australia. Now try our refreshing, bone-dry 2021 Rosé! This Rosé is uniquely made from a blend of our rare Germanic grape, Trollinger, plus other Adelaide Hills red fruit. Made in the typical French Provencal style, it features a pale watermelon juice colour, with a succulent nose of red cherries and apples. The palate is electric and exciting with bright cherry and apple flavours offset by an exhilarating natural acidity that reminds one of skating on polished ice! The long finish has you salivating for another sip. Perfectly matched to freshly shucked oysters and all your favourite seafoods and South East Asian cuisine..
This is a rosé that will age well for between 5 - 7 years.

Tasting notes: Blaufrankisch is a red grape variety that produces wines of superb quality in its homeland of Austria, where it ranks as the pre-eminent grape in the red wine province of Burgenland. Hahndorf Hill Winery was the first producer of Blaufrankisch in Australia, with our debut vintage being in 2008. The 2018 vintage is hauntingly beautiful with an appealing nose of blue-brambly fruit and spicy black cherries. Extraordinarily smooth and fine on the palate with a gentle tumble of fruit and a light brush of textured tannin. This stylish red wine sings when paired with your favourite spicy dish - but is also perfectly matched to skillet seared lamb, crispy duck or Atlantic salmon.
This Blaufrankisch will age till 2033 and will become more elegant and understated, yet complex and beautiful, as time passes.

Tasting notes: Hahndorf Hill was the first producer of Zweigelt in Australia - Austria's favourite red grape variety. Gorgeous garnet colour in the glass, with a youthful, purple edge. The perfumed nose is an explosion of crushed raspberries, cherries and gentle spice, whilst the palate is vibrant with fresh red fruits, clove spice and a mouth-filling, juicy acidity. It has a long, soft tannin structure.
Perfectly matched to all spicy meat dishes, seafood, pork, chicken, all salads and tomato-based dishes. But mostly lamb's new best friend!
